About Luiz Quene
After many years working in technical fields related to corporate economic and financial management — where the logic of numbers shaped my daily routine — I began a new phase of life in 2014: traveling the world and discovering its diverse landscapes and cultures.
During this period, my passion for photography grew continuously, motivating and inspiring me to create increasingly refined images. Over time, I evolved from being a traveler who photographed to becoming a dedicated landscape photographer, willing to go great distances, hike demanding trails, and sacrifice hours of sleep in pursuit of a remarkable moment of light and composition. Learning to work with colors, light, and shadows remains both a challenge and a lifelong journey.
It is impossible not to highlight the importance of Mother Nature, which offers us life and extraordinary beauty and therefore deserves our deepest respect and preservation.
The interventions necessary for human development should be thoughtful and balanced, guided by the best of science and by harmonious architecture.
The greatest star of nature’s daily spectacle — the Sun — is the essential ally of landscape photographers, constantly creating unique light, colors, and compositions. Its endless creativity reminds us of the responsibility not to miss a fleeting and unforgettable moment that will never exist in exactly the same way again.
